In the 2025 “Challenge Cup” Capital Undergraduate Academic and Scientific Innovation Competition, part of the "Youth Innovation Beijing" initiative, the Business School achieved another outstanding performance. Students from the school served as principal investigators in 116 awarded projects, securing 12 special prizes, 32 first prizes, 33 second prizes, and 39 third prizes. Across all participating projects, Business School students contributed to a total of 408 entries, earning 26 special prizes—including 4 championship awards—105 first prizes, 169 second prizes, and 108 third prizes. These results represent a significant advancement in both scale and excellence, marking a new milestone in the school’s competitive academic achievements.

The Business School places high strategic emphasis on innovation-driven talent development. Since the launch of this competition cycle, the New Business Innovation Center has systematically advanced preparatory efforts by organizing a comprehensive series of capacity-building initiatives. These include specialized training lectures, pre-submission mentoring sessions, and experience-sharing forums featuring off-campus entrepreneurship advisors, faculty members from the school’s innovation and entrepreneurship teaching team, and students with proven competition success. Concurrently, the School launched the "AI Business Culture Festival" and introduced the “1+2+3” Digital Business Initiative—a structured program designed to identify high-potential seed projects, assemble dedicated mentor teams, and deliver tailored one-on-one project refinement to enhance competitiveness and academic rigor.

Faculty members and academic advisors from various departments undertook extensive outreach efforts, fostering strong engagement among students and staff of the Business School. A total of 262 submissions were received for this edition of the competition, with cumulative participation reaching 670 student involvements and 402 faculty involvements. Following a rigorous selection process, 116 projects were awarded, resulting in an award rate of 44.3%. These included 12 special prizes, 32 first prizes, 33 second prizes, and 39 third prizes. Notably, the number of special prize recipients marked a new record, surpassing the school’s previous best performance in the competition’s history.

Main Track Awards: The College secured one first prize and two third prizes.
Special Track Awards: A total of 12 top prizes, 31 first prizes, 33 second prizes, and 37 third prizes were awarded to the College, marking a record-breaking achievement in its competition history.


The Business School leverages high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions as a core educational platform, guided by the philosophy of “Integration of Business and Management”. It systematically enhances the pedagogical impact of these competitions to foster students’ innovative mindset, creative capabilities, and entrepreneurial spirit. By fully stimulating students’ interest and potential in scientific and technological innovation, the School empowers its students to demonstrate their youthful vitality in the wave of innovation and entrepreneurship and to emerge as pioneers in the field of technological advancement. In doing so, the Business School continues to contribute meaningfully to the university’s strategic goals of “Business and Management Integration” and “Double First-Class” construction.
