The Business School Digital Practice Center Teaching Team Wins Award at 2025 National Alliance Conference

To further implement the digital transformation strategy of the institution's business education and advance the reform of digitalized business education, Deputy Directors Ding Xuechen and Dong Tianyi from the Digital Practice Center of the Business School attended the 2025 Annual Conference of the National Alliance for Innovation and Sharing in New Business Education Experimental Teaching in Wuhan, Hubei Province, from December 5 to 6. During the conference, Beijing Technology and Business University was formally inducted as a new member institution of the Alliance, signifying a significant milestone in the development of the Digital Practice Center’s experimental teaching framework for the new business curriculum. Established in December 2021, the National Alliance for Innovation and Sharing in New Business Education Experimental Teaching now comprises over 100 universities and enterprises committed to fostering collaborative innovation, resource co-construction, and shared utilization in experimental business education.

The 2025 Annual Conference was hosted by the National Alliance for Innovation and Sharing in New Business Education Experimental Teaching, with co-organization by the Hubei Alliance for Innovation and Sharing in New Business Education Experimental Teaching and Wuhan University of Business. The conference centered on key themes including innovation in experimental teaching within the context of the new business paradigm, the sharing of high-quality educational resources, and the integration of digital and intelligent technologies into pedagogical practices. Representatives from numerous higher education institutions, including experts and educators specializing in new business experimental teaching, convened to engage in comprehensive discussions on advancing open and shared experimental teaching resource systems and fostering the development of model experimental teaching centers in new business education.

During the conference, faculty members from the Digital Practice Center engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from multiple higher education institutions on key topics including the digital and intelligent transformation of experimental teaching, the cultivation of cross-disciplinary talent, and the development of AI-enabled application scenarios. Following Beijing Technology and Business University's formal induction as a new member of the alliance, the Digital Practice Center will leverage the alliance platform to advance collaborative resource development and sharing, strengthen academic exchanges and institutional cooperation with universities nationwide, and further enhance its capacity and influence in the field of new business education experimental teaching.

Following the conference, members of the center’s team visited the Economic Management Experimental Teaching Center at Wuhan University of Business. They engaged in comprehensive discussions on key aspects including laboratory development strategies, the design and implementation of practical teaching systems, course resource development, experimental project design, and operational management practices. This exchange provided valuable insights and innovative perspectives for the center’s future planning in laboratory construction, optimization of practice-oriented curricula, and advancement of industry-academia integration initiatives, thereby laying a solid foundation for enhancing educational quality.

Through participation in the 2025 Alliance Annual Meeting, the Digital Practice Center demonstrated the Business School’s significant achievements in curriculum digitalization and experimental teaching innovation. This engagement has further solidified the center’s role as a collaborative partner within the national framework for new business education reform. Going forward, the Digital Practice Center will remain closely aligned with strategic priorities such as digital empowerment and pedagogical innovation in experimental learning. The center will actively explore new models, tools, and pathways for experimental teaching in the AI era, and is committed to advancing the high-quality development of interdisciplinary, composite digital business professionals.
