The Business School Conducted a Research and Exchange Visit to the Business School at Renmin University of China

On May 14, Dean He Yurun and Party Secretary Fan Jiangtao of the Business School led a delegation to conduct a research and exchange visit to the Business School at Renmin University of China. Dean Yi Jingtao and Party Secretary Xuan Tianying hosted the meeting on behalf of their institution. Also in attendance were Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Yue, Associate Deans Zhao Chuan, Qiu Yong, and Liu Changquan from the Business School, along with relevant departmental leaders from the Business School at Renmin University of China. The symposium was presided over by Dean Yi Jingtao.

At the symposium, Yi Jingtao extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. He emphasized that the two institutions share a solid foundation and a long-standing history of collaboration, and noted that the proposed cooperative initiatives are both practical and strategically sound. He Yurun expressed sincere appreciation for the gracious hospitality extended by the Business School at Renmin University of China, and provided an overview of the Beijing Technology and Business University’s School of Business, covering its development history, disciplinary advancement, talent cultivation framework, research achievements, and contributions to social services. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on advancing comprehensive cooperation between the two business schools, exploring potential areas for joint development in education, research, and institutional innovation.

Moving forward, the Business School will further advance the development philosophy of “Integration of Business and Industry,” drawing on the advanced experience and innovative practices of the Business School at Renmin University of China. In collaboration with Renmin University’s School of Business, it will deepen strategic partnerships in key areas including Party building and ideological education, disciplinary development, scientific research, teaching and pedagogy, and international exchange. Through these efforts, the School aims to make sustained contributions to the economic and social development of Beijing as the national capital.
